<사유의 자리 A Site of Thought>
<사유의 자리 : A Site of Thought>는 한국 전통 문화의 정수인 문경한지의 깊이를 통해 관람객에게 사유와 성찰의 기회를 제공하는 특별한 공간을 마련한다. 천년의 시간이 깃든 문경한지 위에 청마 유태근 작가의 예술적 손길이 더해져, 시간의 흐름과 내면의 탐색이 하나로 어우러진 작품들을 선보인다. 이 전시는 익숙한 일상에서 벗어나, 사물과 새로운 관계를 형성하며 내면의 깊이를 들여다볼 수 있는 공간을 제공하고, '사유의 자리'에서 각자의 사유를 완성해가기를 염원한다.
전시에는 유태근 작가를 비롯해 스튜디오 누에, 바이그레이, 김선희, 스튜디오 신유, 스튜디오 포가 참여하며, 이들과 더불어 국가무형유산 김삼식, 신근식 벼루장, 한상묵 전통 먹장 등의 작품들도 함께 전시된다. 이 작품들은 모두 전통적인 기법과 재료로 제작되었으며, 각기 다른 전통 예술의 깊이를 보여준다. 이번 전시는 나와 세상, 내면과 외면을 연결하며, 사유의 여정을 탐구할 귀중한 기회를 제공한다.
The exhibition <A Site of Thought> offers a unique space for contemplation and introspection through the profound heritage of Korean traditional culture, particularly focusing on the deep history of Mungyeong Hanji. The ancient craft of Hanji, imbued with a millennium of tradition, is enhanced by the artistic touch of Cheongma Yoo Tae-geun, creating works that intertwine the flow of time with inner exploration. This exhibition invites visitors to step away from the familiar, fostering new relationships with objects and providing a space for deep introspection, all while encouraging the completion of one's own reflective journey in this ‘A Site of Thought.'
The exhibition features contributions from artists such as Yoo Tae-geun, Studio Nouer, By grey, Sunny Kim, Studio Shinyoo, and Studio Foh, alongside works by traditional masters like Mungyeong Hanji artisan Kim Sam-sik, inkstone craftsman Shin Geun-sik, and ink maker Han Sang-muk. Each of these works, created using traditional methods and materials, showcases the profound depth of Korean traditional arts. This exhibition presents a precious opportunity to explore the journey of thought, connecting oneself with the world, and the inner with the outer.
